SHANA - The energy ties between Iran and India will increase in such areas as Makran Coasts and Chabahar Port, Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Bahram Ghasemi said.
Briefing reporters on Monday on the achievements of President Rouhani's recent visit to New Delhi, Ghasemi said: "The Cooperation between Iran and India will develop especially in the energy sector and in areas such as Makran and Chabahar."
He said there are many grounds for cooperation with regional countries which "we hope will be materialized."
Certain topics regarding energy, oil and gas were discussed during President's visit to India, he said, adding, "Iran and India will continue their cooperation in energy grounds especially in Makran region."
"We hope such cooperation will benefit all the regional countries," Ghasemi added.
