IRNA Iranian foreign minister called on the European Union to play active role in resolution of the Yemen conflict, and said that Tehran is ready for cooperation in this regard.
Mohammad Javad Zarif said in an interview released on Sunday that if the European side is ready for 'serious' work for resolution of regional problems, we are 'serious'.
He referred to Iran's four-point peace plan for Yemen which was offered to the UN, three years ago and noted that 'we should prepare the ground for ceasefire and inter-Yemeni dialogue to reach a political solution, there'.
Elsewhere in his remarks, commenting on the effect of the US policies regarding the implementation of the nuclear deal, Zarif said that Americans prevented the Europeans to meet their obligations.
