Tasnim The head of the Intifada (Palestinian uprising) and Quds Center at Irans Islamic Propagation Coordination Council underlined that the Tel Aviv regime and its main backer, Washington, are in their weakest-ever position.
In a speech at a coordination meeting of the Intifada and Quds Center in Tehran on Wednesday, Ramezan Sharif decried the US decision to relocate its embassy from Tel Aviv to Quds and said the holy city is the first Qibla (the direction that should be faced when praying) of Muslims and belongs to the Islamic world.
He further emphasized that the prediction of Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei about the collapse of the Zionist regime would undoubtedly be realized.
Today, the United States and the Zionist regime are in their weakest possible position, and this fact can be seen easily, he said, adding that they have, nonetheless, distorted the reality with the help of their powerful media corporations.
On February 23, the Trump administration said the US embassy in Quds will open on May 14 in order to coincide with the 70th anniversary of the Zionist regime of Israels self-proclaimed independence.
It came following Trumps move in December 2017 to recognize Quds as Israels capital, which drew widespread international condemnation and sparked protests in the Palestinian territories.
Ayatollah Khamenei has described the US controversial move as a sign of weakness and incompetence, saying, The Islamic world will definitely stand against this plot and the Zionists will receive a bigger blow.
