Press TV - Iranian male and female Paralympic athletes have shown commendable performances at the 10th edition of Fazza International Athletics Championships Dubai 2018 World Para Athletics Grand Prix in the United Arab Emirates, andscooped nine medals.
On Tuesday, Hamed Amiri competedin the men'sshot putF53 eventat the Dubai Club for the Disabled in Dubai, and recorded a throw of 11.20 meters tosnatch the gold medal.
Zafar Zaker, another Iranian representative,managed toearn silver in the men's shot put F55 category, having thrown the shot 8 meters and 81 centimeters.
Additionally, Alireza Mahmoudi and Abdulnabi Nawaser picked up two bronze medals in the mens shot put F54 and F44 classifications.
Hashem Rastegari got the bronze medal in the mens B2 200-meterdash.
In the women's javelin throw F34division, Iranian pitcher Faezeh Kermani earned the bronze medal with herbest effort of 16.71 meters on Tuesday.
Earlier in the tournament, Iranian athletes Mehdi Oulad, Hakimeh Goudarzi and Rahman Zamani had respectively earned a gold, a silver and bronze medal.
The 10th edition of Fazza International Athletics Championships Dubai 2018 World Para Athletics Grand Prix started on March 13 and will run through March 16.
