IRNA - An earthquake measuring 5 on Richter scale rocked Ganaveh in the southern province of Bushehr at 8:48 hours local time (05: 18 GMT) on Monday.
According to the Seismological Center affiliated to the Institute of Geophysics of Tehran University, the epicenter of the quake was registered at 50.79 degrees longitude and 29.71 degrees latitude at the depth of 11 kilometers underground.
The epicenter of the quake was registered at 29 km of Rig Port, 30 km of Ganaveh and 33 km of Shabankareh.
No casualties or property damages have been reported, Bushehr governor Abdolkarim Geravand told the Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA).
