Press TV - A magnitude 5.9 earthquake has joltedthe Iranian southern province of Bushehr, with no immediate reports of casualties or damage.
The earthquake struck the provinces Kaki District at the depth of 18 kilometers on Thursday at 11:04 a.m. local time. Four rescue teams have been dispatched to the area.
The tremor was also felt in Bahrain and areas around the Persian Gulf.
Iran sits on major fault lines and is prone to near-daily earthquakes.
