RNA The Venezuela cultural week started with the attendance of Latin America envoys in Tehran University on Sunday.
Ambassadors of Venezuela, Nicaragua, Ecuador and Chile attended the event.
Deputy head of Tehran University for international affairs Mohammad Baqer Qahramani congratulated over the 208th anniversary of Venezuela independence.
Although Venezuela has experienced many ups and downs through its history, the country has changed into cultural hub in this region, he said.
He also referred to the enhanced relations between Tehran and Caracas, and said fighting colonization and paying attention to domestic powers are among unique characteristics between two countries.
In addition to political and economic fields, both countries had relations in cultural field, Qahramani said.
Iranian official welcomed exchange of students and professors between Iran and Venezuela universities.
