Rudaw - An ultra-light aircraft crashed at Imam Khomeini airport in Tehran on Tuesday night, killing one and injuring two, according to initial reports.
Initial reports indicate six people were aboard an ultra-light airplane before it crashed at Imam Khomeini airport around 7:15 p.m. (local time), according to Iran's ISNA news agency.
Miztaba Khalidi, a spokeswoman for the country's emergency agency, told ISNA two people died and one was injured.
The Iranian Army's Red Crescent Rescue Organization was dispatched to the crash scene.
Iran's FARS news agency confirmed the crash of an ultra-light airplane at the airport with three casualties.
