president.ir- First Vice-President Es'haq Jahangiri chaired the meeting of the cabinet on Sunday and appreciated people's attendance in Quds Day demonstrations, saying: "The noble and revolutionary people of Iran have been holding Quds Day each year more glorious than the previous year".
Dr Jahangiri also referred the Atomic Energy Organisation of Iran's readiness and start of operations after the Supreme Leader's command and the President's order to develop nuclear activities within the framework of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA).
"President and the Council of Ministers have always preferred national interests over any other issue and are ready to defend the country's dignity and authority proportional to some lack of commitment," he continued.
The Council of Ministers also discussed locations for protest and decided on appropriate locations in which protests would be held.
Based on what was decided in this regard, stadiums of Dastjerdi, Takhti, Motamedi, Azadi and Shahid Shiroudi, parks of Goftegoo, Taleqani, Velayat, Pardisan, Honarmandan and Shahr, and the northern side of the Islamic Consultative Assembly building were determined as the appropriate locations for protests in Tehran metropolis.
