IRNA Iran Intelligence Ministry has stopped activities of a thousand anti-Revolution Telegram channels and summoned their administrators, Intelligence Minister said.
Addressing Majlis (Parliament) Sunday open session, Mahmoud Alavi said 'we are acting based on national interests' and security.
The Intelligence Ministry has stopped activities of those groups and channels which had anti-security and anti-revolution activities.
The channels belonged to anti-Iran terrorist Mujahedin-e Khalq Organization (MKO), monarchists, separatists and emerging sects.
'We also identified tens of thousands of channels with pornographic, child-abusing, and terrorist content and blocked them,' he added.
