Iran, Belarus agree over ‘oil for machinery’ barter deal


MNA – The Iranian Ambassador to Belarus said Tehran and Minsk have agreed to barter oil products for industrial machinery.







In a meeting of ambassadors of the Islamic Republic of Iran with the directors of Islamic Revolution Mostazafan Foundation, Head of Islamic Revolution Mostazafan Foundation Mohammad Saeedikia said that barriers in the way of export and export activities should be removed, so that ambassadors should cooperate with the Foundation in line with spurring export in other countries.

He lashed out at bylaws stipulated in the country in the field of supporting export and reiterated, “unfortunately, most bylaws and regulations have been envisioned in the field of supporting import.”

In this meeting, Building and Energy Deputy of Islamic Revolution Mostazafan Foundation Manouchehr Khajeh Delouei pointed to the capabilities and potentials of the Foundation and said, “the Foundation enjoys high capability to be active in other countries especially in the field of electricity and power plant industries.”

The Foundation needs modern equipment and machinery, he said, adding, “in this regard, we should take advantage of high potentials of other countries. Moreover, the Foundation requires financial resources and in this line, talks are underway with Chinese firms in order to finance relevant projects.”

He went on to say that the Foundation has high capability in the field of construction of refinery, develop oil and gas sector in other countries in the best possible form.
