SHANA -- The CEO of the National Iranian Oil Products Distribution Company (NIOPDC) said plans were under way to involve the domestic private sector in the swap and export of petroleum products.
Mohammad Reza Mousavikhah said a call had been issued for identifying qualified and eligible domestic companies in the field of petroleum export and swap.
He underlined some of the major advantages of petroleum swap, adding generation of revenues for the country, assisting protection of the environment, ensuring energy security and minimizing road accidents are some of the benefits of swapping petroleum products with the country's neighbors.
