IRNA Iranian commercial attach to Iraq referred to some fake news on Iran-Iraq trade conditions, saying Iran has put on the agenda increasing commercial exchanges with Iraq.
The trade between Iran and Iraq is in normal condition at the moment, Naser Bahzad told reporters Wednesday, adding that there is no problem at both countries' borders as regard exports and imports.
He also mentioned growth in volume and value of the products exchanged between two countries during the first 4 months of the current Iranian calendar year (beginning on March 21).
Behzad went on to say that based on the statistics, $2.7b worth of goods were exported to Iraq.
The figure experienced 24% rise in value and 14% growth in volume compared with the same period last year, he added.
The value of Iran-Iraq trade exchange is over $10 billion per year.
