President.ir - President Rouhani visited wounded war veteran Ahmad Mohammadi in a cordial atmosphere late on Wednesday and said: �The life of human beings gets its value from the goal they try to reach and you veterans and martyrs gave your lives for the highest and best of goals�.


�If it were not for your self-sacrifice and devotion, the Baathists, who were the origin of ISIS, would have occupied this country and what ISIS terrorist are doing right now would happen to our country,� he continued.

Dr Rouhani also said: �The highest rewards will be given to wounded war veterans and martyrs by the Almighty�.

In this visit that Vice-President in Martyrs and Veterans Affairs Hojatoleslam Val-Moslemin Shahidi was attending, a plaque of appreciation was given to the wounded war veteran.
