IRNA - An earthquake measuring 4 on the Richter scale jolted Jannat Shahr in southern Province of Fars early Sunday.
According to the Seismological Center of the Geophysics Institute of Tehran University, the tremor occurred at 21:23 hours local time (16:53 GMT) in an area located at 28.74 degrees latitude and 54.92 degrees longitude and in the depth of 10 km underground.
No report on possible damage to life or properties has been released yet.
