IRNA Representative of France to the 62nd Annual Regular Session of the IAEA General Conference emphasized commitment to Iran nuclear deal, also known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA).
Franois Jacq made the remarks in a meeting with the Head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI) Ali-Akbar Salehi on Wednesday.
The meeting was held on the sidelines of the 62nd Annual Regular Session of the IAEA General Conference in Vienna.
The conference began in Vienna on Monday and will go on for four days.
Jacq described the JCPOA as a successful agreement.
He also emphasized France's commitment to Iran deal.
Jacq expressed regret over the US anti-Iran sanctions.
Iran and France enjoy many opportunities for maintaining cooperation, he added.
Meanwhile, Salehi called for France participation in student exchanges with Iran and holding training workshops in the fields of science and nuclear technology.
Both sides also underlined cooperation in the areas of science, technology, nuclear fusion and waste management.
They also reviewed application of quantum in communication, computer calculations, biology and sensors.
Iran and France underlined developing joint cooperation through signing cooperation documents.
