Press TV - Iran's Alireza Yousefi has won a gold medal in the men's superheavyweight +85kg category at the 2018 Youth Olympic Games.


Yousefi registered 162kg in his final attempt in the snatch round, lifting 218 kilograms in the clean and jerk.

The Asian youth champion topped the podium with a total of 380kg, while Hristo Hristov of Bulgaria finished second just one kilogram behind, and Enzo Kuworge of the Netherlands completed the podium.
