MNA � Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman�Bahram�Ghasemi�has expressed regret over a deadly train accident in northern India, which killed and wounded dozens of people.







In�a�statement�on Friday, Ghasemi�also�offered sympathy to the Indian nation and government and the bereaved families of the victims.

At least 50 people were killed and dozens more injured on Friday after a commuter train traveling at high speed ran through a crowd of people gathered on railway tracks to celebrate�a Hindu festival in northern India, according to local police said.
