IRNA - Head of the Iranian parliaments Fraction of Environment and Sustainable Development said that the environmental Paris Agreement, in particular, was on the commissions agenda.
Mohammad Reza Tabesh noted that in a meeting on Wednesday the Central Council of Environment and Sustainable Developments Fraction, the impacts and potential limits of the Paris agreement, which Iran has joined, were examined.
He added that the Paris agreement against climate change and its effects is aimed at strengthening the global response to threats to climate change.
Iran and 147 countries have agreed on the convention to decrease global temperatures this century under two degrees, and next week at a meeting with Ministers of Foreign Affairs, Oil, Industry and Head of the Environment Protection Agency we will review countrys measures in implementing the agreement,' Tabesh said.
