Promotion of national unity and Islamic solidarity is a major religious duty, Hojjatoleslam Aboutorabifard said in his second Friday prayers sermon.

Popular movements in the region, including Iraq, Syria, Yemen and Palestine, inspired by Iran's Islamic Revolution, are resisting the arrogant powers, he added.
