IRNA - The deputy of Confucius Institute of china stressed that as Islam and Confucius stand for peace, Iran and China are also two major and historic civilizations and advocates of peace in the world.
Zhao Xiao Yang in an interview with the Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA) on Saturday said that the two nations of Iran and China have unbreakable bonds, dating back to ancient times and ancient Silk Road, describing China and Iran have a very rich culture.
He considered the exchange and agreement with religions, including Islam, the main aim of the Confucius Institute, adding that the Institute has close relations with Islam and Iranian institutions, and every year attempts to exchange cultural exchanges with Iran in different fields.
Referring to the link with Allameh Tabataba'i University and the necessity for developing and strengthening bilateral relations between the Confucius Institute with Iranian institutions, he pointed out that in 2016, he traveled to Iran with the invitation of Allameh Tabataba'i University and Islamic Culture and Relations Organization, which had many achievements for the community.
The deputy of Confucius Institute of china stressed that the association is preparing to form a common destiny of humanity to exchange with different religions, including Islam, and that Iran can play an important role in this regard.
