SHANA - Iranian Minister of Petroleum Bijan Zangeneh said it was necessary to review reasons for Qatar's withdrawal from the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC), saying, "OPEC has major problems caused by certain oil producers, excluding Qatar."
According to ICANA, the Iranian parliaments news website, the official made the remarks ahead of the 175th OPEC meeting on Thursday in Vienna, Austria.
Earlier on Tuesday, Irans OPEC Governor Hossein Kazempour Ardebili said the recent drop in oil prices inflicted 9 billion dollars in losses on oil-producing countries.
