MNA Irans Ministry of Foreign Affairs has appointed Mohammad Keshavarzzadeh as the new ambassador of Iran to China.
In a Saturday statement, Foreign Ministry Spokesman Bahram Ghasemi said that Keshavarzzadeh, proposed by Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif and approved by President Hassan Rouhani, has been appointed as the new ambassador to China.
Keshavarzzadeh was previously the Foreign Ministrys Director General for American Affairs.
Prior to that, he had served as the Iranian ambassador to Venezuela, Uzbekistan.
