IRNA - The Special Aide to the Speaker of Iranian Parliament in International Affairs says that while US President Donald Trump is looking for Iranophobia, the conference of heads of the six countries' parliaments showed that Iran is able to pursue active interactions with the world.
'The conference was held in line with the challenges of terrorism and regional relations,' Hossein Amir Abdollahian said Saturday on the sidelines of the second conference of the heads of six Asian countries' parliament in Tehran, noting, 'It is expected that the legislatures of the participating countries to make more effective legislation in this regard and to compel governments about the national anti-terrorism centers in these countries to be more active and coherent.'
'The countries' parliaments are to make recommendations for the development of the social and economic well-being of the summit and governments in the scope of implementation can take measures in the sustainable development sector,' he added.
He noted, 'The fight against terrorism and the effects that terrorists have caused by drug trafficking on cyberspace are among the other focal points discussed in the conference'.
'The final statement of the summit is a very good agreement, one of which is in the field of combating terrorism and regional cooperation', Amir Abdollahian said.
