IRNA An advisor to Iran First Vice President Ishaq Jahangiri and Iraq's minister of transport discussed finishing the railroad between Iran and Iraq on Sunday.
Iran's Hassan Danaeefar and Iraq's Abdullah Luaibi discussed the solutions to expand ties in transportation, which included the completion of the railroad from Khorramshar, southwestern Iran, to Basra, southeastern Iraq.
About 30 kilometers of the railway has not been made yet, that according to the previous agreement, Iraq should complete it.
Reviving Iran-Iraq-Syria transit line was another issue discussed in the meeting.
Iranian side of the meeting expressed readiness of Iranian companies to implement the project for Iraq.
In the meeting, the most recent situation in bilateral ties and collaborations were also discussed.
Iran's ambassador to Iraq Iraj Masjed-jamei was also present in the meeting.
In his three-day visit, Danaeefar is to meet Prime Minister Adil Abdul-Mahdi and some ministers and authorities of Iraq.
