IRNA - Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman condemned the terrorist attack on the Libyan Foreign Ministry and expressed hope that the world would see security and stability in Libya in the near future.
Expressing sympathy with the victims of the incident, Bahram Qasemi added, 'The Libyan people can overcome the remnants of terrorism with their unity, national effort and determination.'
Libyan news sources on Tuesday reported a suicide attack on the Foreign Ministry building in Tripoli, announcing at least three people were killed and 9 others wounded.
According to the report, the attackers were four men who started shooting after entering the building and one of them blew himself up among the guards in which the spokesman for the forces known as the Tripoli Revolutionary Battalion was killed in the attack.
