FNA - Iran's Amirkabir University of Technology and France�s International University of Mod'art have concluded an agreement to hold a joint MBA course on the field of design, innovations and strategies for the development of modern brands.

The Faculty of Textile Engineering of Amirkabir University of Technology is accepting master�s degree students by the end of the current Iranian year (to end on March 20, 2019) in designing innovations course and strategies for the development of modern brand.

Students will learn digital communication skills, customer behavior knowledge, technical and artistic expertise in the fields of design and innovations, and strategies for developing modern brand.

The period of study is 2 to 2.5 years, the first year of which will be held in cooperation with the University of Mod'art at Amirkabir University of Technology in Tehran and from the second year to the end of the course at Mod'art.

Iran has sealed countless agreements with academic centers and universities across the globe, in a bid to expand academic cooperation and conduct joint research projects.

On Friday, it was announced that Iran's Ministry of Science, Research and Technology and the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) of Germany have reached an agreement to conduct a host of joint academic and research projects.

Last Sunday, Iran�s Hakim Sabzevari University signed 2 memoranda of understanding (MoUs) with two academic centers in Iraqi Kurdistan region, Salahaddin University and Ishik University, to expand academic cooperation.

On December 12, Iran�s leading academic center, the University of Tehran, and Malaysian University of Putra signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to pave the ground for a joint research project on social responsibility.

Earlier in September, Head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI) Ali Akbar Salehi announced that his country stands first in West Asia in terms of scientific progress.

In relevant remarks in June, Iranian Vice-President for Science and Technology Sorena Sattari announced that the country ranked 15th in the world in producing science and stood 7th in nanotechnology.

"In the past 1.5 years, the Islamic Republic of Iran has ascended three steps and is now standing among the 15 pioneering science production nations in the world," Sattari said.

Noting that Iran ranked 7th in advanced nanotechnology, he said, "We have plans to rank 5th in this field."

Sattari also announced that 1,500 knowledge-based companies were active in different Iranian provinces.
