IRNA � Chabahar Port is Iran�s best strategic point for domestic and foreign investment, as it is connected to free and oceanic waters, said managing director of Chabahar Free Trade and Industrial Zone.

Addressing the First Seminar on Sistan-Baluchestan Investment Opportunities on Friday, Abdolrahim Kordi added that registration of the Iranian and foreign companies� activities in various parts of Chabahar Free Trade Zone are conducted in less than 48 hours.

�Chabahar is one of the significant Iranian points, as it provides the best chance for reducing burden of US oppressive sanctions against Iran,� he said.

Seminar and Exhibition of Sistan-Baluchestan Investment Opportunities is held annually in Chabahar to introduce investment opportunities in the region, he said.

Describing Chabahar as the gateway for development of eastern Iran, he said that it can play a crucial role in trade and transit of goods, after its transportation infrastructure is completed.

�Chabahar is the only point of the Islamic Iran that can prepare suitable conditions for the country�s economy outside the economic sanctions through cooperation and synergy of different sectors,� he said.

The First Seminar-cum-Exhibition of Sistan-Baluchestan Investment Opportunities opened on Friday and will end on Saturday.
