IRNA - Managing Director of Iran's Agricultural Township Corporation emphasized that in the 9 months of this current Iranian year (starting in March 21) over 950,000 tons of greenhouse products worth 350 million dollars were exported.

Ali Ashraf Mansouri announced at a news conference on Monday that with greenhouse development and rise in production, the greenhouse export value of greenhouse products is expected to reach $500 million by the end of the year.

Mansouri said production of greenhouse products in 2017 was about 2.6 million tons of vegetable and seafood, and one billion and 600 million flowers, and ornamental plants and branches.

According to him, last year more than 820,000 tons of various greenhouse products worth $300 million were exported to different countries.
