IRNA Volume of exports to Iraq and Turkey showed more than 50 percent increase in weight in the first 10 months (March 21, 2018-January 21, 2019) of the current Iranian calendar year of 1397 (started on March 21) compared to the figure in the same period the previous year.
The rise in the exports comes despite US efforts to restrict Iran's exports, according to data released by Islamic Republic Customs Administration.
US President Donald Trump, unilaterally quit the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), aka Iran Deal, on May 8.
Based on the report, Iran earned $36.35 billion out of export of 94.875 million tons of non-oil exports. Within the first 10 months of this year, 2.21 percent increase was observed in terms of hard currency earning compared to the revenue in the corresponding period last year.
China, Iraq, the UAE, Afghanistan, Turkey, India, Korea, Pakistan, Indonesia and Oman, as the first top 10 importers of goods from Iran, stand top on the trade list.
