IRNA Deputy Chair of US-China Partnership Foundation believes Washington could never win its economic war against Tehran as Iran enjoyes huge capacities and potential to fight the war.
In an exclusive interview with IRNA on Sunday, John Milligan-Whyte said the US measures against other countries such as China and Iran which comes in the form of economic pressures on them are wrong.
Such moves cannot be interpreted as peaceful, he said.
The US pressures on Iran cannot be expected to last long and succeed, he said, since Iran is a very powerful country with a civilization much older than the US.
Referring to China as a country with peaceful policies, Milligan-Whyte said Beijing keeps its relations with Iran and other countries, and will never surrender to Washington's policies and strategies that are creating tensions in the Middle East.
The civilized countries such as China and Iran have pursued peaceful ways of cooperation with others, he said.
Iran is an important country in the Middle East and is capable to manage its own affairs and protect its national interests, according to the American businessman.
