IRNA � Iran and Russia on Wednesday signed a cooperation document to facilitate visa issuance for the two countries' citizens.

Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif and his Russian counterpart Sergei Lavrov signed a protocol which will facilitate visits by the two countries' people.

In a ceremony held to celebrate the event, Lavrov said that the protocol will improve relations between the Iranian and Russian nations, the traders in particular.

Zarif arrived in Moscow on Tuesday evening and conferred with his Russian counterpart on issues of mutual interest along with latest regional and international developments.
