Financial Tribune - Iranian steel mills produced a total of 8.49 million tons of crude steel during January-April 2020, which indicates a 4.3% rise compared with the corresponding period of 2019, the latest report released by the World Steel Association shows.
The country's April output declined 17.8% year-on-year to hit 1.79 million tons, according to the Brussels-based international trade body for the iron and steel industry.
