SHANA -- The CEO of Petrofarhang Petrochemical Holding Company said: "Kimia Pars Middle East Petrochemical Complex, with continuous and sustainable production, will increase the production capacity of the country's petrochemical industry in the year of production leap."

Marzieh Shahdaei, referring to the constant and sustainable production at Kimia Pars Middle East Petrochemical Plant, said: "The official opening ceremony of this methanol unit with an annual production capacity of 1,650,000 tons will be held soon."

She appreciated the successful performance of the former managers and employees of the plant to complete the project, stating: "This project has been implemented in four years with standard scheduling after financing and has entered the production stage. Observance of HSE standards has led to the registration of 14 million man-hours without incidents during the implementation of the project.�

The CEO of Petrofarhang Petrochemical Holding Company pointed to the impact of sanctions on petrochemical complexes and projects, and added: "Implementation of Kimia Pars Middle East Petrochemical project was accompanied by some problems due to sanctions and a number of equipment manufacturers did not cooperate during the launch, but this project was successful."
