In a statement in commemoration of the National Day of the Defense Industry, the Iranian parliamentarians lauded the domestic defense industry for making steady progress under the pressure of sanctions, ensuring Irans security and power, and sending the message of peace and stability to the region and the world.
The MPs also called on defense industry activists and elites, knowledge-based companies, and academic and research centers to work in collaboration with each other to boost the countrys capabilities.
The statement noted that self-sufficiency in production of weapons and defense gear would thwart the cruel sanctions and result in successive defeats for the US and the Zionist regime.
