Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi called for close cooperation with Nicaragua in international organizations in order to nullify the US sanctions.
In a telephone conversation with his Nicaraguan counterpart Daniel Ortega on Tuesday evening, the Iranian president stressed the need for close cooperation between Tehran and Managua in the international arena to nullify the US sanctions and increase the costs of the American regimes actions against independent states and nations, especially Iran and Nicaragua.
The common views of the two Iranian and Nicaraguan nations against the US excessive demands is a precious asset for interaction and convergence at the international arena for defending the national sovereignty of independent states and nations, Raisi added.
