The Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Budapest issued a communique on the emergency status in Ukraine aimed at assisting the Iranian citizens, and established a Support and Pursuance Headquarters.
In the embassy communique it is said that the Iranian ambassador as the head of that headquarters aimed at facilitating the transfer of Iranian citizens through Hungary and sending them to Iran, talked with Foreign Ministry officials at the place and is pursuing the conducted acts.
Amirabdollahian, the foreign minister, too, in a phone talk with his Hungarian counterpart coordinated for faster transfer of the Iranian citizens through Hungary to Iran, it added.
The communique reiterated that the Hungarian officials, too, have announced readiness to assist the Iranians in their trip back home, needless of visas, and only with authentic passports and residence cards of Ukraine.
