Iran's Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian on Friday held a meeting with his Tanzanian counterpart Liberata Mulamula.
In the officialvisit, the Tanzanian sidestressedthe necessityofimplementingagreementsreached in the firstjointcommitteeof comprehensive cooperation, as well as the meetings with Tanzanian officials, and especially with the Tanzanian president.
Amirabdollahian said in the meeting that oneofthe prerequisitesfor the developmentoftheexpectedrelations is solvingthe visaproblemofIranians interested to have economicactivities inTanzania.
He wentontodiscussthe latestdevelopmentsonthe lifting sanctions,stresssing thatitwill bepossibletoimplementthe newagreementswiththe newconditionsifit is realistic.
Amirabdollahians first visit to African countries as a foreign minister began on Monday, August 22. He first visited Mali and Tanzania; he then left Tanzania for Zanzibar late Thursday night.
