A high-ranking delegation from Russia will come to Iran next month to hold expert-level talks on the development of bilateral relations on issues ranging from oil and gas industries to transportation.
Iranian Deputy Minister of Oil for International Affairs Ahmad Asadzadeh pointed to the telephone talks between the heads of the Iran-Russia Joint Economic Commission, saying a high-profile Russian delegation, headed by Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak, will attend the 27th edition of Iran Oil Show in Tehran next month.
In a telephone conversation on Monday, Iranian Oil Minister Javad Owji and Novak, as the heads of the Iran-Russia Joint Economic Commission, discussed the ways to enhance bilateral cooperation in the banking, transit, oil, gas, and petrochemical sectors, IRNA reported.
Asadzadeh also noted that members of the Russian delegation will hold Business-to-Business meetings with Iranian counterparts on the sidelines of the Iran Oil Show, which will be held on May 17-20.
He also pointed to the presence of high-ranking Russian officials, including Governor of the Bank of Russia Elvira Nabiullina, in Tehran concurrent with the inauguration of the oil show, and added that the two sides are going to ink cooperation documents on the sidelines of Business-to-Business meetings.
