Iran regains 3,506 Achaemenid tablets from US after 85 years
The Iran Project - Iran's President Raisi announced that during his visit to New York, the Iranian government successfully reclaimed 3,506 Achaemenid tablets from the Americans after more than 85 years.

He expressed satisfaction with the outcome of his trip, stating that it provided an opportunity to explain Iran's stance in securing the interests and values of the Iranian nation.

President Raisi highlighted the numerous meetings and communications he had with elites and politicians, emphasizing that the voice of the Iranian nation was more expressive than ever before.

He credited the Ministry of Cultural Heritage and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for their efforts in securing the release of Iranian heritage.

The Iranian president revealed that 3,506 tablets had already been returned to Iran, with the remaining Achaemenid tablets set to be returned soon.

Attending the UN General Assembly allowed for communication and clarification of positions, which the President deemed as important issues.

He cautioned against ignoring values in favor of protecting others' interests and emphasized that cooperation with all countries is the foundation of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

President Raisi also expressed concern about the media's portrayal of Iran, stating that it is important for both the media and officials to present an accurate picture of the country to avoid misunderstandings.
