According to The Iran Project,Einollahi said very good agreements were inked between Iran and Cuba in the last two years in various fields as the two countries are witnessing the development of their bilateral relations.

“These agreements are related to the ministries of welfare, health, agriculture, and communication,” he said. “So far, 25 cooperation documents have been signed in the last year and a half, which is a record.”

He explained that 13 cooperation agreements were signed in the joint Iran-Cuba Commission early this year, 6 agreements were signed in Havana during President Ebrahim Raisi’s visit a few months ago, and 6 more agreements were signed on Monday during a meeting between the presidents and ministers of the two countries.

Elsewhere in his remarks, Einollahi described the political positions of Iran and Cuba as “very close” to each other, especially in condemning the barbaric attacks of the Zionist regime on the defenseless people of Gaza.

The two countries also share common positions in international organizations, he added.

Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel arrived in Tehran on Monday and had a meeting with President Raisi. During his visit, the two countries signed seven memoranda of understanding on cooperation in science and technology, health, agriculture, energy and mining, communications, and medicine fields.
