The Iran Project : Parliament speakers of several countries have held separate phone talks with their Iranian counterpart Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf, extending their condolences over the terrorist attacks that left 84 people dead in Kerman.
According to The Iran Project,The top parliamentarians of Qatar, the UAE, Oman, Syria, Turkiye, and Tunisia spoke with Qalibaf on Thursday, each condemning the attacks that took place during a ceremony to mark the fourth assassination anniversary of Iran’s top general Qassem Soleimani.
Recalling a statement made by Leader of Iran’s Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, Qalibaf said that the perpetrators will receive a hard response from the Islamic Republic for what they committed.
During their phone talks, the Iranian speaker and his counterparts also discussed Gaza as well as a joint meeting by the Asian Parliamentary Assembly (APA) and the Parliamentary Union of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation member states, which is set to take place in Tehran next week to support Palestine.
The Takfiri group issued a statement on Thursday night, claiming responsibility for the explosions that also left 284 people injured, Reuters reported.
