Tehran, IRNA – People in France and the UK have taken to the streets in yet another show of solidarity with the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip hit by more than months of war waged by the Israeli regime.
In the UK, pro-Palestine protesters filled the streets of different cities on Saturday for the 23rd consecutive week of rallies against the Israeli regime’s genocide in Gaza.
Chanting “Free Palestine” and carrying Palestinian flags, the protesters condemned the Israeli regime’s crimes in Gaza and expressed solidarity with Palestinians in the war-hit enclave.
The demonstrators also chanted slogans against “Israeli apartheid and occupation”, calling for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza.
The British protesters promised to continue their rallies until the bloodshed of the Gazans is stopped.
In France, protesters hit the streets in the capital Paris, demonstrating against racial discrimination as well as the genocide in Gaza.
The Saturday rally was the latest in demonstrations in support of Gaza in France over the past weeks.
