According to The Iran Project, Mohammad Eslami made the remarks while speaking to reporters on the sidelines of the weekly cabinet session on Wednesday.

Referring to the ongoing negotiations to settle disputes over the locations in Iran at which the IAEA was suspicious of the existence of undeclared nuclear material, Eslami said only two outstanding issues remain to be addressed.

The two outstanding issues are in the settlement process, he noted, adding that Iran and the IAEA have agreed on a plan according to which deputies from the two sides are engaged in dialogue and interaction.

It was confirmed during Grossi’s recent visit that Iran has a great capacity in various sectors, particularly the nuclear industry, that can be presented to the world, Eslami stated.

The UN nuclear chief visited Iran last week to take part in the International Conference on Nuclear Science and Technology 2024 in Isfahan.

Grossi said he has reached an agreement with Iran to take joint operational steps to carry out a statement the two sides had issued in March 2023.

Describing the March 2023 statement as a major document, Grossi said it defines what needs to be done to resolve the outstanding issues and take additional steps.
