48 percent rise in condensates export despite sanctions, official

Talking to IRNA on Wednesday, he noted that his organization has exported 3,295,000 tons of condensates valuing over dlrs 2,918 million in the past four months.
According to the official, the figures show a rise of 48 percent in terms of weight and 80 percent in value compared to the corresponding period last year.

He said the customs department of the Pars Special Energy Zone has recorded a total of dlrs 4,700 million during the period this year which mainly included refinery equipment and chemicals used in petrochemical complexes.

Pourheidar also noted that the exported condensates were destined to such countries as China, Japan, the UAE, India, Indonesia, Netherlands, Belgium, Spain, Turkey, Romania, Taiwan, Thailand, Malaysia, Vietnam and Afghanistan.
