The embassy called on Muslims and freedom-seeking people around the world to attach great importance to the issue of Palestine and liberation of the holy Quds.
The Zionist regime has been trying to sow discord among Muslims, killing the oppressed Palestinians and destroying their houses, the statement said.

It referred to the statement made by the late Imam Khomeini describing the Tel Aviv regime as a cancerous tumor and a symbol of corruption in the region.

As to peace talks, the statement said that the talks, in the past three decades, have brought nothing to the Palestinian nation.

It then referred to turmoil and developments in the region as part of anti-Muslim plots masterminded by the West and global Zionism.

All those conspiracies are aimed at diverting the world public opinion from the major issue of liberation of the holy Quds, the statement noted.
