TEHRAN, Aug. 8 (MNA) An Iranian researcher has designed and produced explosion-proof cameras which do not allow the electric current to flow out.
In an interview with Mehr, Mahdi Bakhtiari, the executor of the design said: In industries like oil, gas, petrochemistry and factories which produce fiberglass and yarns, there are particles floating in the air which may cause danger.
He further added: In working places of such industries, because of the electric current, even the smallest sparks can lead to fires or explosions, thus for the high-risk areas we need to use products which would not cause explosions.
Bakhtiari informed of the design and production of explosion-proof cameras and noted that these cameras do not let any electric discharges or sparks flow outside the camera and do not explode when in contact with flammable materials outside.
The executor of the design also added that furthermore, these explosion-proof cameras have a resistant body which reduces damages in case of possible explosions outside the camera.
These cameras show strong resistance in areas with humidity and salty waters, he explained.
Bakhtiari emphasized that these cameras have been introduced to the international markets and added: These cameras can be used in oil, gas and petrochemical industries as well as factories which produce fiberglass, yarns, grains, wood and any factory which deals with high-risk flammable materials capable of denotation or explosion."
