British police gross misconduct bears death to an Iranian

TEHRAN, Oct. 30 (MNA) British police in Bristol has admitted to their misconduct on dealing with an Iranian national Bijan Ebrahimi, who was killed subsequently.

Mehr News quoted BBC report that Mr. Ebrahimi had been summoned on suspicion of breaching the peace last July, but later released without subsequent action.

British newspaper reported that time that Ebrahimi took photos of local vandals to sue them, who harassed his flowers. But the local people accused Ebrahimi of pedophilia and taking improper pictures of children.

Police noticed during the investigation that the allegation was unfounded and that Ebrahimi wanted to show the photos to police as evidence of harassment. After the rumors spread, two locals beat Mr. Ebrahimi and set him alight.

Mr. Ebrahimis family had called the killing as a cruel and out of unimaginable hatred act, and stated that until those responsible for his death are at large, justice would not be realized, and the similar dangers threat the innocent people anywhere else.
