Istanbul, Nov 21, IRNA Minister of Industry, Mine and Trade Mohammad Reza Nematzadeh conferred on Thursday with his Tunisian counterpart on expansion of economic cooperation between the two countries.
The Iranian minister has attended the 29th Conference of the Permanent Committee of Social and Economic Cooperation (COMSEC) of the Organization of the Islamic Cooperation in Istanbul.
At the meeting, the two ministers called for expansion of mutual cooperation in commerce, tourism and investment.
The COMSEC meeting is to end this evening.
Ministers and top economic officials from 57 countries including the Islamic Republic of Iran have taken part in the event.
The participants reviewed various topics such as ways to absorb foreign investments, improvement of economic infrastructure, promotion of production in Islamic countries, attaining independency in production and export of raw material as well as agricultural products.
