TEHRAN (FNA)- Brazil stressed on Wednesday that there is no military solution to the crisis in Syria, and welcomed the recent announcement of the UN Secretary-General on holding the international conference on Syria "Geneva2" on January 22.
In a statement, the Brazilian Foreign Ministry said that the conference is considered a chance to enhance the dialogue among the Syrians, end the violence and reach a political solution between the government and the opposition.
The statement added that Brazil supports the work of the UN Special Envoy to Syria Lakhdar Ibrahimi.
Earlier, the UN announced that Geneva2 conference will be held on January 22nd.
